Do you want to get your Learner Licence?
Are you aged 16 or over?
RAP offers Learner Driver Licence courses throughout the year.
Support to gain the Learner Driver Licence
We offer a 3-week course, with two sessions each week. Each session lasts for two and a half hours.
The test for the Learner Licence usually takes place during session six at the local AA office or vehicle testing station. You sit the test when you are ready.
The course is free and you will learn by:
listening to the tutor, and asking the tutor questions;
reading the Road Code;
watching and discussing videos; and
practising for the test using resources in the room as well as online.
RAP sometimes offers a one-day workshop from 9.00 am – 3.00 pm, although this does not include the test. The test takes place on another day.
