Beneficiary Advocacy
If you are living locally and having trouble with Work and Income, or have any questions about your benefit we can arrange for you to meet with an advocate from AAAP* who will then contact you to set up a time for a conversation.

Who are AAAP?
Auckland Action Against Poverty (AAAP) walk alongside you as you (learn how to) advocate for whānau and yourself for your rights and entitlements, when navigating the system (eg WINZ, ACC, housing, when specialist advocates are available).
AAAP are also activists fighting alongside communities for systems change so that everybody has their human rights.
AAAP is proud to be primarily a volunteer organisation run by the people for the people. You never have to pay for AAAP advocacy or advice - it is not AAAP advocacy if you are asked to pay.
You can contact AAAP via email at advocates@aaap.org.nz
or through the facebook page:
