RANUI MARKET DAYMarket day in Ranui has a community feel to it. It`s not huge, but it`s not small either.
We have 25 car-park sites available where there is an allocated area for car-boot sales. Outside there is another 2 spaces on the steps landing. Furthermore, during the summer the grassed area allows up to 6 stalls. The entertainment area complete with a sound system is from a spacious deck area facing all stall sites. In the past we`ve had a good variety of people from young and old and we still have live music when the weather allows. Everyone`s welcome to come on market days and utilise this service to promote, advertise and entertain. The deck area also allows room for a table and chairs should you wish to eat outdoors.
Inside the main hall we have spaces available for 7 stalls and the foyer holds up to 3 stalls. We have the kitchen available for those who wish to hire it to sell food and beverages. Our kitchen has had many yummy ethnic food sales and we welcome much more.
Out stallholders have varied where we have seen many craftwork ranging from handmade jewellery, kete, harakeke flowers, knitted items, ceramics, cards, cosmetics and much more. A regular stallholder at our market is the guide dog fundraisers who sell lovely items. There is home baking and preserves as well.
We have the Ranui Action Project Information table that keeps you updated with latest projects/information in hand and market days includes information to representatives involved in/with Health Promotions, Social Services and Community Organisations. Again, all are welcome to use market as a platform to deliver and/or promote their services.

LIVE MUSIC, FOOD, BARGAINS. MEET YOUR FRIENDS. |
AbstractThe market continues to attract new and regular stallholders and provide bargains, food, live music and maybe something a bit different in the way of crafts. After our survey, we will be developing more from the ideas of both stall holders and customers.
